The star opening

A five point opening of about 5,248 m² at the crown of the roof, framed by a lit ring beam. Daylight, air and the sky enter the bowl through the national symbol.

Green, yellow, red.#

Supporters in Ghana colours waving flags in the lower stand of a full stadium.
Supporters in the lower tier, with the yellow and red tiers rising behind.

The lower tier is green, the middle tier yellow and the upper tier red. Black stars are set into the yellow seating only, so the national symbol sits at the centre of the bowl just as it sits at the centre of the flag.

Adinkra symbols are proposed in the red upper tier: Gye Nyame, Dwennimmen and Sankofa.

A football pitch first.#

The P01 drawings show a 105 × 68 m natural hybrid football pitch with run off and a technical area on the long touchline.

Some renders show an athletics track around the pitch. Whether the stadium should carry a permanent track, a temporary overlay or none at all has not been decided, and the drawings and renders differ on this point. It is listed as an open question on the roadmap.

A 34 m circular display is suspended beneath the star opening. Its band carries the national colours, with the star held inside the yellow.

Two internal LED ribbons run around the bowl between the tiers, and pitchside LED boards frame the field for advertising and match information.

Dugouts beside the tunnel.#

Premium dugouts sit on the long touchline either side of the players' tunnel, so teams walk straight from the dressing rooms to the technical area.

Hospitality on Level 01.#

Club and VVIP areas sit at Level 01, about 12 metres above the pitch, with skyboxes and media at Level 02. A separate, secure VVIP arrival court serves the presidential box and suite. Detailed security layouts are not published.

Room to move.#

Wide stadium concourse with supporters walking past food kiosks under a lattice ceiling.
The ground level concourse between the glazed facade and the stands.

A glazed public concourse wraps the bowl at ground level, with an upper concourse at Level 03, about 36 metres up. Circulation, exits and evacuation times would be set by fire and crowd safety engineers; they are not designed here.

Concerts, ceremonies and national days.#

The bowl is intended for national ceremonies, concerts, religious and cultural gatherings and other large events. Staging positions, pitch protection and turnaround times are questions for an operating study. The concept does not include a retractable pitch.

The name appears once.#

The main media facade at night: black and white legend portraits framed by the national colours, above the glazed concourse.
The black and white portraits on the facade show how the screen could honour national sporting figures. Any public use of a real person's likeness would need that person's permission, or their estate's.
